El Acuario is a short film about the twilight of a professional athlete, the solitary end of his career, and the anticipation of recognition. “El Acuario” tells the story of Ramón “El Griego” Álvarez, a former bowling champion, who receives an invitation to go to the bowling alley “El Acuario” in Medellín where he will be honored for his sporting achievements. “El Griego,” excited and full of anticipation,  embarks on a journey from Bogotá to Medellín by car, hoping to finally receive the recognition he has longed for during his retirement years.
