“Las voces del territorio” is a six-part audiovisual series that amplifies the voices of indigenous peoples in the Colombian Amazon. The series highlights the efforts of a generation of social leaders who work to protect the environment and secure political and socio-cultural rights. Despite political milestones such as the 1991 constitution and decree 632, the Amazon and its communities face threats from deforestation, illegal mining, and armed conflict. The leaders act as a bridge between traditional knowledge and modern political dynamics, promoting education, health, and self-government. The series aims to raise awareness of the importance of these processes for the health of the planet.
