Sergio Andrés Cañón was born on February 4, 1997, in Bogotá, Colombia. He completed his studies in Film Production and Direction with an emphasis on Digital Editing since 2017. He has extensive experience in the audiovisual field, working as a DIT (Digital Imaging Technician) and editor on various short and feature films.

Recently driven to explore documentary and fiction formats, he has been collaborating with other young creators to work on new projects. Currently, he is working with La Cueva Films on various post-production processes and independently in the city of Bogotá.

Among his recent works are the short film “Cuando la llanura encuentra el piedemonte” (2022) and “Cicatrices” (2021).
